The Early Intervention Coordinator (EIC) will contact the ill or injured employee by phone to explain the program as soon as the employee's absence is reported to CSSEIP. Once eligibility has been determined, the EIC will then mail an early notification package to the employee that includes a letter of introduction, and an Occupational Fitness Assessment (OFA) form for the employee and their doctor to complete and return to the EIC.
