June 2, 2006 -- IMPORTANT NEGOTIATIONS for a first contract for BCGEU members at the NCO call centre will resume Tues. June 6 for at least three days when the two sides are expected to deal with a number of important issues.

NCO call centre contract talks off to a constructive start

Face-to face negotiations are underway for a first contract for more than 1,400 new BCGEU members who work a the NCO call centre in Surrey.


BCGEU working with NCO, WCB to solve air quality problems

While the Surrey call centre continues to face recurring air quality issues, all involved are working hard to try and pinpoint the source of the noxious fumes that have made a number of NCO workers sick in the last 48 hours.
